Making an Appointment
How do I make an appointment?
You will need a current and valid referral from your GP or specialist before we can make an appointment for your child. GP referrals are valid for 12 months from your first visit to the clinic and specialists referrals are valid for 3 months.
When the referral has been triaged by our team, we will make contact with you to arrange an appointment date and time.
What do I need to bring to the appointment?
Please bring the following things with you to your first appointment:
Medicare & Private Health Insurance details
Referral letter if we have not already received it
Your child’s Health & Development Record Book
Any previous assessments or reports for your child (e.g. x-rays/scans, blood tests, psychology or assessment reports)
Signed patient/consent form from our website if you have downloaded it.
Claiming from Medicare and Private Health Insurance
You will be eligible to claim a rebate from Medicare as long as you have a valid Medicare card and referral from your doctor.
Unfortunately, you cannot claim from your private health insurance for consultations with your specialist/doctor, however you may be able to claim for some allied health services depending on your level of cover.
You can also ask your GP about claiming for allied health services from Medicare if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM).
Cancellations
Please contact our clinic at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time if you are unable to attend or need to reschedule. Cancellation fees may apply to missed appointments.
